KGV College in Southport is going through a refurbishment programme during the summer holidays and The Carpet Shop are delighted to be working on the project.
We’ll update this blog over the coming weeks, as we do the work.
We’ve already started some of the work and have carpeted the recently refurbished link, using Paragon Macaw Pewter carpet tiles, fitted in a checkerboard style and using a gradual profile to create the curve.
Paragon Macaw is cost-effective, low level, loop carpet tile, manufactured using 420grams per m2 of anti-static, easy clean and bleach resistant 100% polypropylene, ideal for general office and commercial areas.
Another part of the refurbishment, which we have some before picture of, is the new open plan reception area, with new frontage, in which we will be fitting Paragon carpet tiles in grey strobe with magenta flash strobe, randomly fitted throughout the project.

As we approach the opening date for the new term, we’re happy to say that the college is delighted with the work we’ve carried out over the summer, which looks great, even if we say so ourselves.
In the following pictures, you can see the new reception area on the ground floor and the Learning Centre on the first floor, which have been transformed.

The circle is Paragon workplace cut pile in Biscay Blue with multicoloured runway consisting of Biscay Blue, Salsa Red, Shocking Pink and Bright Blue, inlaid into the existing grey tile.
